6.5 & HTC Task Manager

The newer builds of 6.5 (that have the X on the bottom) and HTC Task Manager seem to be having problems. When I hit the X, the program doesn't close. It only minimizes. I have it set to close on single tap. Is there a way to fix this annoying problem?

Not with HTC Task Manager. It only works if the X button is on top. Showcase Suite will work and is available at XDA-Developers.com.

also look for task facade 4 its great
map it to a hardware button and it auto runs at start up
longpress the image to close that application and the press the one you want to go back to to close the x'd application

Quick Menu seems to work OK on the 6.5 ROMS I have tried. (Although I get away from Titanium any way I can, usually with MS3.) I had to activate the Q up on the task bar, and decided to cover up the battery icon. (I use Top Bat or Batti) After selecting Tap to Close, even if the X isn't there, taping the clock in the upper right hand corner closes the app.

Tapping the Q gives me all the Quick Menu Task options. I especially like the capability of Copy Paste it adds.

Nice find Mon! just what I needed for the newer 6.5, it does show a battery indicator covering up the clock in the upper left but only on the Home screen where that clock is not needed!! Thx again Mon!

If I am reading you right, you might try disabling the "Show battery on title" under Quick Menu/Options/View tab. It doesn't kill my battery icon, but it never overlaps the time.
