Verizon time?
Oddly, I discovered that my Omnia was twelve minutes off this morning. I had always assumed that, like other cell phones, the Omnia will set its clock automatically according to Verizon time - or at least would be set by the Exchange server. Is this incorrect? If it is incorrect, is there an app that will do this for me?
For what it's worth, I'm running Bgill's 23037 from Modaco. |
Re: Verizon time?
Seems like there is a check box somewhere to make that happen automatically (or not).

Re: Verizon time?
I thought so too, but I can't find it. I'm thinking that maybe I'm remembering a check box in the Time settings when I had my Treo 700w.

Re: Verizon time?
i had a similar problem with my phone. one day I did a soft reset and when it came back on the time was 20 minutes slow. i tried every thing to try and fix it without doing it manually but that was my only choice

Re: Verizon time?
My phone time was off once, but as soon as I made a call, the time was corrected.

Re: Verizon time?
On my previous phone, i760, I couldn't get the clock to display the right time ever.. I live in arizona, and with it being it's own timezone, it was always an hour off. i would fix it, and then of course as soon as the phone went to sleep or a call came in, it would revert back to mountain time. No amount of fiddling would fix it. Thankfully the omnia is smarter and works fine time wise for me.
