omnia line up comming to vzw soon!!
 

just a few hous ago i called verizon tech support. i had a small problem that had to do with the internet. they werent able to help me. i figured out what was wrong and fixed it. well the point is that i took advantage to ask about omnia line release date. i kept asking when it was the release date. he wasnt able to tell me. yet he managed to tell in 3 months! it will be released during a holiday or before it. vzw will be offering a couple of omnia phones. the down is that they might not be getting omnia hd. the tech guy told me that they have not heard of omnia hd being released for vzw. good news, omnia line up will not lock the phones. all of your complaints got throu. vzw did mot like the idia of having unhappy costumers.

Do you like they would run a black friday special on these phones... I know the retail price for Omnia is about $549.. I am expecting Omnia 2 to be about the same when it is released... I just started my contract with VZW this past May... Needless to say, I will not be eligable for a upgrade..But I really would like Omnia 2, any suggestions? I don't like the idea of paying full retail price!

hahaha, my contract is been over since a month ago, so I'm waiting to get the contract so I get omnia at a cheaper price. hopefully I get a nice deal..

Let me break the bad news to ya. if your posting on this forum then you know far more than what a customer service rep will know about the phones, and services available. the info he is giving is all speculation. they find out days before the releases. so dont take there words to heart. if anything test their knowledge of the products, and you will find they know very little.

Yea but its its the grey area of being the right thing to do. Easy way though would be to open up a second line for ten dollars. Well actually that wont really work. So no

You can open a second line and get the Omnia 2, but if they require a data plan, then you'll have to pay for that too.

just today i was at verizon store my buddy owns and the omnia is pulled so i asked about omina2 ect, he said x-mas at the earlyst. lol

thank for supporting me, im nnot the only one who has asked and been told the same thing by vzw reps.. so expect an omnia in you gifts. i know i wont, i will have to buy it.

ps, to that dude who thinks he is a know it all, you dont know ball sac. they just told is gonna be released on a holiday. is not an exact date.

As far as the August 23 date for the Omnia2 release, trust me VZW would not release a phone to Best Buy, which is "authorized retailer", before it's available either through direct fulfillment or direct store locations. Not gonna happen. We'll be seeing it for the holiday release time.. after Thanksgiving.
