help saving contacts in wm6.5

sorry to start a new thread on this (if its already been covered) but every search i try gives me something reguarding backing up contacts... im running wm6.5.
my question is about saving contacts. when i get a new number call or text me and i want to save it, i hit the save to contacts button. then i get a choice to save to outlook or windows live. i have never used outlook. i set up a windows live account to try it but its not getting me far. when i pick live, and then check my pc (live account) they are not showing up after i hit sync. i just want to add them to my phonebook like in wm6.1. is this because (i think) Adyn removed samsung phonebook from his cf03 wm6.5 vanilla version 3.0...?

any help...thx...

so thats just how it is then... you really cant just hit save to new contact and ad a number to your phonebook with out doing the run around with out look or windows live... i dont really like that.

Nope 3.0 Vanilla has Samsung Phonebook in the rom still and it does work to add contacts in.

Weird. Anyway i though i replied in here last night but apparently i didnt. I found the fix adryn posted but the cab wont install. i extracted the files out and copied them to the windows directory and the standard contact screen is working for me now. http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showpost.p...81&postcount=6 give it a try and let me know how it goes.

When you get to this point choose Outlook Contact. That will bring you to the old 6.1 contact input screen. The problem the other thread covered was when you selected Outlook Contact it would just bring you back to the phone book and not let you input anything.
