browse other phones via bluetooth
 

i was at the bar the other day and saw an old friend. well we BT together to swap some stuff and he could see my phone and my contacts and pix, etc. i saw and connected to his but i couldnt browse his phone or see anything thing. all i could do is send and receive info.
he has a samsung instict i think...T-mobile. its a dumbphone. am i missing something or did he +1 my omnia....
say it aint so...

The T-Mobile touchscreen phone is called the Behold. Usually, bluetooth on dumbphones is not fully featured and you may have to pair the phones a certain way to get it to work (ie you have to scan for his phone and initiate the pairing, or he may have to scan for your phone and pair it from there).

well ya, thats what we did. paired up. but he could tap and hold on my phone i.d. on his BT info screen and then pull up my contacts and pix. i could not. unless i missed a setting or something. their is a file transfer authentication password on in my BT settings. theirs also an image transfer setting. nothing seemed to work. can it not be done with this phone or what?
