SLOW texts from Twitter and Facebook?
 

My normal text messages come through just fine. But, texts from third parties (like twitter and facebook) take FOR EVER to come through. I will get them hours after they were posted, sometimes in the early morning hours (like 2 or 3 in the morning) even though I have settings with facebook and twitter to only text me between the hours of 8 am and 10 pm.

Is anyone else having this problem? I'm not sure if it is a Verizon thing with third party texts (because it happens with all of them, not just facebook and twitter) or if it is an issue with the service sending them.

I havent had this issue myself, the only time i had slow texts from anything was when the network went loopy around here, maybe they are doing updates in your area, wouldnt hurt to give them a call.

I have the same issue but I am on AT&T.

I am not getting my Twitter alerts at all....I get my face book just fine and twitter gets my post. I am totally lost to why wont work...I am on veeizon.

I have the same issue as well. i thought it was twitter or facebook but i guess not, it's a little annoying but i'm adjusting to just check my sites online now instead of waiting for alerts.
