Can some or have someone made a cab for the omina cf03 upgrade :scratch:

If you mean to upgrade from the stock rom to CF03, then no. It's not possible to do that (AFAIK) since you actually have to overwrite the ROM portion of the phone. The only way to upgrade is to actually perform the flash.

If your meaning to transfer a cab to the phone to install CF03, that isn't possible. You need to use the Samsung upgrade tool or UMDL to load it to the phone.

Correct. A cab is a file that the Windows Mobile operating system reads and interprets.

But since a flash actually deletes Windows Mobile for a few minutes, there will be no operating system avaiable during the flash to read the cab file.

Try this instead of UDML first. It's much easier for a first time flasher:

You can use this as long as you aren't on a 64-bit operating system

this is a zip file my computer (windows 2000 pro service pack 4 )does not have a zip extractor . can you tell how to open this file or were i can download a zip software

udml is faster and easier
