Wi-Fi missing!! Please help!!

For some reason when I go to my Wireless Manager the only thing it shows is my Bluetooth and Phone. Wi-Fi is not there any more and I have no idea why. Did any one else experience this problem before or does any one know how to get Wi-Fi to show up again in the Wireless Manager?

BTW I'm avoiding doing another hard reset to my phone.

Just curious, do you use WMWifiRouter? If so, this problem can be quite regular. But there is a simple fix for it :)

Same thing happened to me a while back and after messing with it for a long time the only thing that fixed it was doing a hard reset. Sorry!

Ugh looks like I have no other alternative than hard resetting. Thanks for the feedback, guys

Why would you say: "there's a simple fix for it" and then not provide a link or say what it is? *scratching head* so what is the fix? not using wmwifirouter?

Because, if you're not using WMWifiRouter, there's no real reason for me to write it all out, is there?

That's why :)

ahhh. ok. well - I had the same issue... wifi disappeared after using wmwifirouter .9 something and the ICS...
A hardreset fixed it.
But then evdo stopped working.
A second hardreset fixed that... so thankfully, both evdo and wifi are now working - though I haven't tried to reinstall ics or wmwifirouter.

Sorry, what I wrote above was kinda rude (it was a long night last night). Here's the fix if using WMWifiRouter:

You may need to do this every time you run WMWifiRouter since the program is kinda screwy with the phone's WiFi chip.

1) After closing WMWifiRouter when you're done using it, open WMWifiRouter again but don't connect
2) Go into 'Options'
3) Run 'Crash Cleanup'. This restores the WiFi in the phone. This process will take several seconds, then will close itself once done
4) Re-boot

Your WiFi should now appear in the wireless manager again
