Facebook games on Omnia

Hey, does anyone know of anyway to be able to use facebook applications like games on the Omnia besides using Skyfire? Any help would be greatly appreciated http://www.modaco.com/style_emoticon...lt/biggrin.gif

Ok, so I tried Opera 9.7 beta today... worked alot better than skyfire! And this is a smartphone, I expect to do much more than just a regular cell phone.

Anyways, I'm kinda diggin the beta version of Opera that's out right now. And if it gives me problems, I have both versions installed so I can go back and forth as needed.

Keyword is its a "phone" not a laptop...Pocket PC to be exact NOT a smartphone what are u expecting from a hand held mobile device...???

no one is arguing that opera or skyfire is better my point was neither is going to perform great on the platform of a phone, the fact it works at all and that ur able to do things u used to have to wait to get home and do on ur computer is a plus even if its not perfected yet...

It's not a laptop sure, but it can still do alot of things. Why would I NOT want to use it to it's full potential?

My observation that Opera was better wasn't an argument... I hadn't even thought to try it, gave it a whirl and was posting my joy that it was working noticeably better.

Why wait till I get home when I have time to kill? Especially when there are actually ways to make it work as of right now. Both of these work fine, I've had more luck with Opera as far as speed wise in an almost non existent signal area, that's what I'm here to report.

I have no clue what ur saying here...maybe u mis-read what I wrote...or u just like to argue and have the last word...

my point from my original response was... IF skyfire was the only way to do what u wanted to do, what is the big deal if it didn't work "flawlessly" what are you expecting from ur Pocket PC keyword "pocket" meaning it WILL NOT and CANNOT perform like a regular PC, where those facebook applications are designed to be played....

I was not suggesting you wait til you get home...I said we should be happy that we no longer have to wait to get home to do those things, even if they aren't perfected yet...

but since u like having the last word I will say this...
I am happy that Opera works for you... Have Fun...!!!!!
