storage card not initialized?
 

Has anyone seen this before when turning on Script\Storage
SpbMobileShellSkins\Scripts\ScanStat not found, waiting for existance
(storage card not initialized?) and it does a countdown then disappears? MS3 seem to be working fine and that is where MS3 is at. The only thing that I can think of is that I swapped my 2 gb micro sd for a 16 and all I did was copy everything from the 2 and placed on the 16 before I put it in the phone. Please advise me on what to do with this. Thank you.

If you are using MS3 then it can't be on the storage card MS3 install to device memory only.

Does this happen immediately after a soft reset? It seems as if the program is looking for a theme that is located on the storage card but the storage card has not started when it is looking for it. Hence the message but when everything is finished loading it has found it so everything looks normal to you.

I am sorry, you are correct on the ms3. It does do it after a soft reset also. You are probably right about it finally recognizing everything. I am just new to all the winmo stuff. I was afraid I was going to get some critical error. Could this be why I can't switch my opera cache memory to the card? I can access all the stuff on the card just fine, but I can't get the opera cache to stay like Adrynalynes walk through. Even though I save it just like he said.

That's certainly possible though I can't tell you for sure. I would think this would work though as by the time you are getting in to Opera the storage card should be recognized. How old is the card?

I got it in April I think. I didn't get around to putting it into the phone until maybe a month ago. Didn't 16 gb just come out like last Oct/Nov? I don't have any other problems with it, just trying to get that cache memory to stick after I do a soft reset. I guess I could do a hard one, I do have spb back up.

How fast are you soft resetting after making the change? You need to wait for at least 30 seconds or the change will not take.

Thanks for the info, but I am waiting and tried again whiled I timed it just to be sure. I waited 90 sec and it still reset to default. I created a file that I am trying to set it to, even though Adryalyne said that I didn't need to. I tried withouth first and the same thing, then I tried creating one. Any other ideas?
