How would one add sounds to the WM

I am would like to add more sounds to my Omnia for a great variety of choice when it comes to txt message sounds, mms sounds, etc...

Would anyone have any ideas as far as this is concerned?

without 3rd party software like phone alarm and phonex, i don't know of any other way to change sounds. the profile switching with phone alarm (i use the light version) works really well, and then to set specific ring tones to individuals, phonex does a great job. i'm sure there are a few others out there, i just found these two programs user friendly.

if anyone is using anything different, chime on in. :)

I actually found such a simple way I can't believe I didn't think of it before. All you have to do is place an audio file (must be .wma I believe) and place them into the windows folder on your device. Then just change your sounds as your would normally. I loaded mine up with a ton of Star Trek stuff because I am hardcore nerd like that.

just a heads up.... be careful when you're placing these type files in the windows directory. they take up space quick. if anything, i would put them under my storage\ringtones, or better yet a memory card.

just my .02, but glad that you figured it out.
