Screen Align
Trying to align the screen (It's been off since I got a warranty replacement phone a few weeks ago) and everytime I do the screen align I just keep getting sent back to the center crosshairs, over and over and over, no matter what I do. Clicking and holding doesn't do anything, clicking with a pen/stylus/paper clip doesn't do anything.
I end up having to pull the battery off my phone and the screen doesn't get aligned, any tips? ridiculous..........somehow, literally seconds after I posted this I did the align screen option again and on the 2nd input it took it.........ive been trying for like 3 weeks. |
Re: Screen Align
still doesn't click right, even after accepting the alignment, even with the stylus

Re: Screen Align
i fixed mine by downloading the official update from samsung and re doing the upgrade from there. i got the origonal one from rapidshare i think or one of those. but now it is perfact so i would try that and go frome there. there is a bad copy floating around.

To anyone else having this issue, there's a 90% chance that flashing/reflashing to the official Samsung update (CF03) will fix this If that doesn't work, flash to one of the chefs' cooked ROMs. They pre-align the screen for you, so all you have to do after a flash's first boot-up is hit 'Start' and you're in |
Re: Screen Align
Here's something to check:
http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=128038 The ROM's won't be able to fix this if you have a "warped" digitizer... |
