Notifications??

I recently switched from a XV6800 to Sammy Omnia and like it so far. One of the things I miss is having status LED's on the Omnia. When I get a text message or miss a call.. there is no way to know unless I wake the phone up and look at screen. Is that it or am I missing something???

first off, welcome to the community.

there's a cab file floating around called wakeuponsms. i know that it's in the community, so search for it. install that and you should be fine after receiving text messages. and the only program that i've come across that will let you change the color of the LED is phone alarm. i purchased the lite version and it works great.

i hope that this helps you out.

S2U2 will wake on SMS/MMS/e-mail as well. It'll even give you a preview and the option to S2U straight to the new message.
