PPCGeeks - Dialer Skin

How hard would it be to make a dialer skin? I REALLY want to make one with a custom layout (or have some assistance if someone who knows what they are doing wants to help ;) ) I want to have options like normally show up on first open (i.e. speaker on/off, mute, ect), but possibly add a button to turn dialer lock on (or a good program to do that... can't use stock lock on Adrynalyne's ROM), but for the Keypad... I want it to stretch the entire width of the screen! I don't want the standard 3x3 number pad plus another column of buttons... I don't need talk/end/ect on that screen. sometimes trying to push the small numbers quickly on the run is a challange and gets frustrating hitting the wrong number. Any comments/suggestions are welcome...
