1. Everytime i try to do a search on this forum, i get the same results. I will type SPB Mobile Shell, and i will get no results for it. I get the same off the wall results as if i typed SMS issue. Am i not being specific enough??

2. Any way to change the sounds in my SPB Mobile Shell 3 to get the Spanish Guitar Alert back for my alarm clock?? I really enjoy waking up every morning to the Spanish Guitar, it is quite sootihng. After i install Mobile Shell, the alarm clock alerts are all messed up, there is nothing good in there, i get like Alarm 2 and Alarm 5 but then there is a bunch of files that dont make any noise at all. Can anyone assist?? ](*,)

use galarm or klaxon, there free.

did you happen to flash your phone to one of Big A's roms? if you did, those ringtones and alarms are blown out. look at the bottom of the first post for his rom thread. there is a link that will take you to get those original ringtones back. (if you're missing them)

if not, go with what darren mentioned.... galarm, or klaxon

I upgraded to mobile shell 3 also and am having problems with my alarm tones and ringtones in the right places. I already had downloaded my own tones and put them in folders that I had no difficulty with in MShell 2. Now I can't find the tones when I do a change ringtone with the short cut. If I go into edit contact, my ringtones are there and I can change them and find all my old ones. Any ideas on what is going on? Thank you.

For the alarm tones I'm not even using the MS3 alarm crap. I just put a wigit on one of the lifestyle pages that shortcuts to the original Omnia clock. Although I'm about to try klaxon tonight. As for the ringtones...I haven't messed with them too much since installing MS3, but I'll take a look and see what I have tonight.

for the search option ...use the google one not the forum search..the forum search never worked for me either..

I know for me, before I flashed to the adryl's 1.6 rom/cc20 Every time I would use the spb shell ringtone selector, it would copy the actual ringtone to the programs folder in the device. This was a problem for me since I have about 60 ringtones and I didn't want to hog up space on the device. Somone on here mentioned that if I changed the ringtone in stock contacts screen it will play it from the SD card. I don't know if this will help you or not but hopefully it may give you some ideas.

I hate the forum search.

What I do is either use the Google search, or use the forum search but then click on one of the threads listed as a result and then search again for the same thing once I'm in the thread. You might also want to try the Advanced Search page and narrow your results in there.
