Issue with answering delay

My Omnia seems to delay for several seconds after I press the answer button. I can say Hello three or four times and then the person on the other end heres me. Is this typical? It seems that it didnt do this when I first got the phone. I have been wanting to reflash for the GPS but waiting for big reds new Rom. Any suggestions?

What dialer are you using? If it is a custom dialer it may cause the delay. Try reverting to the stock dialer to see if this is the issue.

Yeah, what Adryn said.

HKLM = HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE

So I went to the reg in the link and the line "SuspendResume"="#777" was not there on my i910. So you are saying that I should download and install that cab. What exactly will it do?

I have this problem as well, I press answer and it takes a couple of seconds for it to actually answer. But the link that was provided, I went into my registry and it seems to have something to do with the data connection? What would that have to do with voice?

OK, I downloaded and ran the regedit, I hope thats what you meant to do. It said it was succesful. I will report back when i have tested it for a while. I still would like to know what it does exactly.

Re: Issue with answering delay

well, it might not do anything on the omnia. it's just been a common issue with all the htc devices.. it sets what connection to suspend when a call comes in, so when the call's done the data session is restored.
there may be a similar setting for the samsung, but sounds like it's in a different location.
