What is UMDL???
 

ok, i've been trying to flash my omnia, and i've downloaded the rom. I see that to install it, i have to run UMDL, but what is that? I've searched but all i found was more forums on flashing the omnia. I guess can anyone kind of give me step by step on how to flash, i've looked for it but can't find it.

Or try going to this site http://www.theidoctor.org/omnia.html and it will give you everything you need to know. Just follow the instructions "exactly" and look for the UMDL download link on the right side of the page. Pdub73 is right, but I think that this site will give you a much better cookbook recipe style way to do it. Good luck.

UMDL is the program used to flash the device. I have attached it and the instructions for the flash.

Will that work for a samsung omnia i900. When I run the UMDL the only two options say "i910" ?

ok the flash c220 worked. I am happy panic stage is down now.. You guys are great. when is the next flash that i should add that is stable? is it the flash 6.5 stock 5 or flash adr 1_7
