Help me brick my phone

Greetings everyone,

I was wondering if anyone new of a sure fire way to brick a phone?

If I were to start writing a ROM to my phone and pulled the USB cable before if was finished, do you think that would do it?

Thanks for the help.

thats true, but as long as u dont keep it in there for longer than 2 seconds, that shud render the phone useless(after that it should not power on anymore)..
however, please proceed with caution, i take no responsibility if u blow up ur house/apartment/cafeteria or whatever...

I cracked the screen to hell on my Omnia. It's only 2 months old and I don't want to pay $100 insurance deductible to replace it. The only way you can tell it's cracked is if it powers on. So if I brick it and take it in to get fixed they'll replace it under the warranty for free.

If you microwave it, please take the battery out. You wouldn't want an explosion.

Ahh, yes, thank you! I probably would have nuked the battery too. You may have just saved my life.
