HTC Task Manager
 

What am I missing?? I am trying to get the HTC Task Manager to run on the i910?

I have read several posts telling me that I need SdkCerts.cab loaded, which I have done, and I have reloaded HTC_Task_Manager_2.1_34837.5.cab and then done a Soft Reset. No luck!

The only why I have been able to make it work is to have a ROM with M2D, or load M2D manually. Since I am not running the TouchFLO interface right now it seems like a waste of space.

Define not working. Does it not run, or does it not close items like you want?

Its in my roms.

I've installed it via cab too.

sorry just checked it was htc task manager 2.0 31261 cab that didnt work the one in your rom works fine

I am running the task man on the stock rom and it is working good. I found it from the extracted HTC apps, over at touch-innovation.com

Sorry for the delay in clarification.... What I mean by does not work, is that is does not load and take over as the default task manager.

I have tried three different cab version and they all exhibit the same behavior. Unless I have M2D installed. They they work fine. Even when TouchFLO is not running.

Here are the versions that I have tried via CAB installs.

2.1_34837.5
2.1_35096.2

Adrynalyne, I know you have it in your M2D ROMs, but I do not see it in the base ROM. Is it there and I am just missing it?

No its not there. I don't include it in base. I could make an exception for you, if you like. I will just cook you a custom rom.
