SPB MobileShell Mods, etc...
 

Hey everyone,

Hope everyone is doing well. I have a few questions that I was hoping to get answered. I just upgraded to SPB MobileShell 3.0 and am trying to customize it.

1) What is the size I should resize a picture to in order to make it my background? Also, if I select a picture that I took with the Omnia camera as my background, instead of "shrinking to fit," it blows the image up and I can only see a corner of it...Any reg hack for "center," vs "tile" or "stretch?" It is a lot like the Windows desktop settings

2) What can you change of the skin for Spb 3? So far, I have only been able to change location of widgets, etc. Colors, different clocks, etc...How do you change all of that?

3) Spb 3.0 doesn't need Spb Watcher, correct?

4) How do I get a BG image for S2U2? I have been wondering this for a while but never been able to figure it out

I would post this in the current thread for help. Most of the geeks are using that thread. I cannot help but someone there could. Request thread merge.

Use
microsoft pictue manager to resize your pictures to 959 by 747 that works best in MS3.

For S2U2 wallpapers just put a landscape and portrait picture in the GFX folder in the S2u2 folder. The two files should be called the same as the stock wallpaper files (it will be obvious when you look in the GFX folder).

I got the wallpapers for S2U2 working, however when I used the same size as the default wallpapers were, it doesn't take up the whole background screen...Is there any way to address this?

For MS3 they need to be around 959 x 747 in order to fill the screen.
