message counter problem
 

Hi all.

My omnia today2 screen shows 2 new emails, but thier are no new emails???

I can go into the registry, to HKEY_C_U.system.state.messages.sync.Unread and change the count to 0, and go to HKEY_C_U.system.state.messages.totalemail.Unread and change the count to 0. Then the indicator is no longer showing 2 new emails. After a reboot, or just a short period of time, it goes back to two](*,).

sync.unread.text = outlook email, but I do not sync outlook email.

This seemed to happen after trying out the preloaded Shozu app with facebook. I have since de-activated the Shozu app, but no fix. At about the same time I also installed the facebook IM app, and uninstalled it. I have also installed the native wm facebook app.

Does anybody have any ideas?

it happened to me also and i tried all solutions. hard reset was my last solution and it works. make sure u back up all before reset.
