"BlueTooth not found on device"
Trying to pair my BT headset to the omnia but i'm getting the message "BlueTooth not found on device" I get this message when I click on the 3 bars at top of screen in Mobile Shell and select 'bluetooth on'
In the settings --> Connections menu, I can toggle bluetooth on and off but checking/unchecking the box. However, when I have the box checked and press 'add new device' I get "problem with BlueTooth hardware". Any thoughts before I hard reset? I tried to search the forum for an answer but couldn't find anything similar. I thought it had to do with the imarche skins. I went through their wireless manager fix but that didn't appear to be the issue. (my registry settings what they said it should be) thanks |
Re: "BlueTooth not found on device"
Just taking a stab at it but have you checked under the Settings\Connections\Bluetooth\Mode tab to be sure the "Make this device visible to other devices" is checked?

Re: "BlueTooth not found on device"
Yep, both boxes were checked.
Its as if bluetooth was somehow removed from my device |
Re: "BlueTooth not found on device"
Do you have any/many third party apps loaded? If so there may be a conflict. Try un-installing each added s/w one at a time and follow each uninstall with a soft reset and check if the BT returns. I am sure you have already thought of this and maybe tried it but I haven't run across this error and can not come up with anything other than this or ... hard reset.

Re: "BlueTooth not found on device"
Looks like I fixed it. I had an external GPS puck paired. So I deleted it and that fixed the problem.
Now to get my 3 comm lights to work properly. They work in that I can press it to bring up my comm options but they do not light up. |
