is anyone using these that is on a newer 6.5 release?

here is what im curious about. If anyone is, they know the scroll bar issue that comes with these newer roms, and what i want to know, is does the background extend to under the keypad when you scroll down? lastly, if it does, anyone tried just redusing that image by about 40 pixels to see if it removes the scrollbar?

It does not. Something is missing in the code of the dialer to get rid of the scrollbar. Also, in 23409 both the i910 and i900 dialers are broken in landscape.

You don't need a CAB to get Samsung's, you just have to use Advanced Config to turn the phone dialer skin on and soft reset.

I think he wants a cab for the samsung dialer because some chefs take it out to conserve space.

CHECK OUT THE ATTACHED SCREENSHOT. Does anybody have any suggestions on why this is happening? it seems everytime i put a new samsung skin on it does this. Im running Yardi4life rom, and i enabled the samsung dialer in the Advance Config. this happens when i scroll down the list of calls.

Old known bug with the 6.1 dialer that you are using. There is no fix for it.

Everyone that i've seen, It doesn't bother me, i use the contacts to search for people, or from the dialer screen, just type the first couple letters until the name comes up. Very handy with the 400 contacts in my phone.

Okay guys so my 2.5 yr old son has this fascination with Disney Cars. And i kinda have a fascination with cars also so heres my idea for a cool theme. check out the pics. if sombody can make me a dialer skin in CAB form that would be awesome. ill throw some PAYPAL Beer at ya . and if anybody can make me a complete theme then ill throw a 6 pack at ya.

so im on one of BW's roms...think WM7 one....
when i try to add a new dialer i get nothing. i opened all the files and copied them to my windows folder, overwriting and a soft reboot... nothing. i tried in the reg and with advan config to enable a custom dialer. when i do that i get nothing at all. if i hit send to pull up the dialer, nothing comes up. i have to undo the advan config setting and soft reset again.
any ideas....? i have had custom dialers before. dont think im doing anything different then before.

What new dialer are you trying to add? I removed the Samsung dialer so you need to add the whole thing in or it won't work. The i8000 dialer I worked on should work just fine. I tried the early version of the Omnia Lite dialer but it did not work. So, a lot will depend on what dialer you are trying to install.

Hi BW,

I've been using 23409.5.4.0 for quite a while now and I must say I've had no issues with it save for the OK in the phone settings menu which you warned of. It is stable and reliable.

I just installed I8000DialerEnglish.cab and the two bottom center buttons (contacts and call history) do not work; nor do the menu items "Options" or "Open Contact". I searched but could find nothing.

Do you have anything that may help these small issues?
