I prefer Dr Web but it stays memory resident but at least you know it will find something when it appears. I am sure you can disable memory resident feature.

I can't say that I've heard of anyone ever infected with a PPC virus.

At this time there have only been proof of concept viruses that have been created. No one has released an actual virus. In a recent hackathon no one attempted to hack a smartphone even though a $10,000 reward was offered. http://www.boygeniusreport.com/2009/...2own-unhacked/ |

Re: Any good anti-virus programs
I agree, they write them basically because they can and to sell more products. I have never seen or heard of a virus made for PPCs either, but if your looking for something free, Flexilis advertizes that it does this: Keep your mobile device and data safe from loss, theft, hackers, viruses, malware, and spam.
I tried it for a bit, but drifted away. It is in beta and free, I am not sure if they will charge eventually, but it is free for now. You can find it here: https://beta.flexilis.com/ |
