because searching on the net and looking on verizon is not helping

verizon has listed qualcomm MSM6800 which others are saying is wrong

and that this phone has a cpu running at 624mhz so can someone with it

Nope. That coming from the info I know for a fact to be true :)

I suppose I could open it up and look. But I will pass. :)

but that info is from well researched info...umm...
it was a nice thread on it a while back.
here it is:

http://www.howardforums.com/showthre...&highlight=cpu

it is NOT 400mhz!
or 800mhz!

Re: Cpu speed

Yeah i already was reading over that thread and it was sloppy so i just called

verizon and asked them to check on the phone and it is the PXA 312

what i don't get is why they have a MSM6800a listed but thanks for the help.

By the way from what i been reading it can be overclocked to run at around

800mhz but with that would sure come with fast draining of the battery

and maybe even the phone heating up more then it already might.

Re: Cpu speed

I believe MSM6800a is simply the chipset, not the CPU itself.

Well pdada.net is showing it as the cpu and chipset

Microprocessor,+Chipset

CPU: 32bit Marvell PXA312
Browse devices based on this microprocessor

Yup i just looked it up that is the Cpu so Verizon needs to get their S*it right.
