Charging Question

When I hook my omnia up to charge, the backlight will eventually go out, and after a while the phone will enter sleep mode, but as soon as it does, it wakes itself back up. So, essentially, it stays on all night. Is there any way to keep it from waking itself back up when it enters sleep mode?

I'd like the screen to stay off all night, just in cause the phones suffer burn-in, since it is an LCD.

I have it set to sleep after 30 minutes, because when it does that while hooked up to the computer it will disconnect and reconnect to activesync. That way I have 30 minutes before it sleeps when hooked up to the computer, but I want it to just stay off, instead of constantly turning back on...

Re: Charging Question

Just hit the power button after you plug it in. :)

Re: Charging Question

I had the same problem, and i eventually had to uninstall S2US (that, along with some other bugs that turned me off to the app)

I have my phone to just turn off the backlight when connected to an external power source since i use My Mobiler at work, and get sick of the constant disconnect/connect whenever it was powering off.

Once i uninstalled S2U2 the problem ceased to exist. All i have to do is hit the power button to put it to sleep, and it doesn't wake back up until the charge complete notification.

Hope this helps....
