Disable WM Lock

HI All--

I have a corporate policy that sets the wm lock to 5 minutes and a simple pin. I have found that it is screwy at best. I would like to just use slide 2 unlock with a pin to lock my device.

Is there a reg hack to kill the default lock?

Quite honestly I am not sure if there is a reg setting that can do this or not (I would be willing to bet there is though) but I would check with your IT people about it. If a lock isn't that important to them, they may allow you to do this without having to go into a reg editor. If a lock is very important to them though, you may want to stick with what you have.

I know it may not be your first choice, but I have seen how some companies get about these things. Good luck, if I do run across a reg setting I will post it for ya!!

The entry to change is 10000123, but it gets re-pushed by exchange every 24 hours. There are some utilities that change it as it get pushed. I believe I am going to opt for a igate style replacement.
