Difficulty installing missing sync on MacBook
 

Hi just acquired an Omnia, I have a macbook for my home computing. I purchased missing sync from markspace because i did not have any success with syncmate. When ever i try to install the program it says that the program detects syncmate. I found all the places where syncmate could be installed thru Finder and removed it completely even from my trash. I still get the same message-detects syncmate. The tech support site for markspace is not helpful at all. Nor was i able to speak with a human when i called.
I have an average knowledge of computers. Please help
