usb cable
Can a standard mini USB cable be used to tether and/or charge this phone? Also, is it a good phone as far as call sound quality and volume? I'm looking to replace my XV6700 and I'm torn between the TP and the Omnia.

The USB cable just barely offers enough juice to charge the phone, so if its idle, I guess it might charge.....eventually.

My USB charges fairly well. I plug mine directly into my car's stereo system to use it as an MP3 player while on the road and it may not fully charge but it definetaly helps the contast use from draining power from the battery.
