VIP ring tone app

ok, so I used this app on my omnia, it appears to run normally, yet it doesn't set/change any of my contact ring tones....

anyone else had a problem with it? or have a suggestion for something what works like it?

thats like buying a bulldozer cause your shovel breaks...

that does way more than I need it to. I just want something that does what VIP RT does.
I'm baffled it doesn't work, I have been using it on my apache with 6.1 on it and never had a problem.
