Spb Backup Errors

I just installed my first program on my Omnia which is Spb Backup and ran a full backup. It concluded with a list of errors and I am not sure how to either correct them or ignore them if they are not an issue. Here is a list of the errors:

Backup process started...
Backup file name: "\My Documents\Backup_First20090228.exe"
Unable to read from file "\cemail.vol".
Unable to read from file "\POCKETFS.SYS".
Unable to read from file "\Windows\lic\lsoma0000000000000000000000000000000 000000000.db" because it is blocked by the following processes: "device.exe".
Unable to read from file "\Documents and Settings\default.vol".
Unable to read from file "\mxip_notify.vol".
Unable to read from file "\mxip_swmgmt.vol".
Unable to read from file "\mxip_system.vol".
Unable to read from file "\mxip_lang.vol".
Started verifying backup file
Total storing time: 0:32.653

Thanks for any help anyone may have!

I am using and have been using SPB Backup for over a year on my MDA, WING and now my Omnia I900.
On the OMNIA I9x0 you will get the error:
Unable to read from file "\POCKETFS.SYS".
I am not sure about the other errors. Did you check out the SPB Forum at
http://www.spbclub.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=34
You may want to try that since it is SPB.
You may exclude the Pocketfs.sys file and it will be OK as it does not affect your Backup/Restore.

Re: Spb Backup Errors

This might be your answer:
Do you have the "Stop processes before backup" option checked, or unchecked (in the options screen)?

Re: Spb Backup Errors

That was it! I performed the backup with the trial version and it didn't give me that option/warning. I bought the full version which had that option and the backup only gave me the POCKETFS.SYS error. Thanks for the tip!

Make sure you Exclude Pocketfs.sys so you will have a totally clean backup. It doesn't really make any difference as the backup will still be good and restorable with the POCKETFS.SYS error. However, I am a nut about any error conditions.
To exclude POCKETFS.SYS
SPB Backup>Options>Files>Configure then enter POCKETFS.SYS. Tap Done
Then try a new Backup and it should run without errors.
