G-Sensor DPad

1 Attachment(s)
I ran across this neat little app over at XDA...you can use the G-sensor to move the cursor in certain apps. It is far from polished, but apparently works well on the Omnia for the apps listed in the description so far:

Run this app in the background to use the G-Sensor as a DPad. Seems to work with cursor (in word etc) and, start menu, list boxes etc.

Re: G-Sensor DPad

I tried an older version before but it seamed a bit pointless to be honest. It has potential if there was a way to activate it when you physically hold a button and for it to stop when u release it. Or if the sensitively was set with the phone held more upright so it wouldn't scroll when u hold the phone one handed normally. decent app can't get 0.8 to work tho, don't know why.
