Time to update. I love this browser on the Omnia. Much better than Opera IMO.

For me, Skyfire beats it hands down. It is the best Mobile Browser. Opera is complete garbage to me... I preffer IE over Opera...

Double tap works fine for me most of the time, but you can also tap "Page" (bottom left) then "Zoom" on the menu and pick the options from there. This will let you zoom in more than the double tap.

I like the fact that I can get all the flash sites with Skyfire, I just can't get the hang of navigating with it. Seems like when I want to click a link, half the time it zooms the page instead of opening the link. I guess I have to play with it some more.

I have been able to get some embedded flash working on my i910 by following the first post on this page: http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread...ht=iris&page=2

Works great for sites like stuffmagazine.com (found this site to be good for testing if flash plugins work on a linux install), but I still have to use Skyfire for Hulu.

Navigation in Skyfire makes me want to kill a squirrel.

Yeah its too bad we cant get the flash compatability of skyfire and the (imo) better navigation and speed of opera. honestly this browser in this thread does little for me, i wanted oh so bad to like it, but in the end im using opera again.

If comparing to Opera Mini, of course no comparison on speed. Opera Mini wins. But compared to Opera Mobile, i think Iris has a fairly good chance. Given it is version 1.1 in compared to version 9.x on Opera, Iris has good potential and does a good job at it.

I'm not saying it doesn't have potential, if another release comes out with significant upgrades i'll eagerly try it again. I'm not in love with opera, but having used skyfire and IE a lot, it feels the best so far.
