"Tools" is a menu item on CeRegistryEditor and "Unlock registry" is an option in the Tools drop-down. I just tried this and the screen seems more sensitive, I'll have to work it a bit more to make sure it is truly noticable and not just perception.

PHM cannot edit from a Windows machine, nor can it create cab files for registry entries. It also canot compare registry entries or files. ;)

On that note, Resco Registry addon> PHM. Its actually finger friendly, which is critical when editing.

;)

I much prefer Resco beacause it is SO finger friendly. And the screen calibration tips worked wonders for me , thank you!

its reg a edit that will make it ULTRA sensitive! :)
also dont forget this is a resistive screen...it needs pressure.
not just a light tap.
i find that my finger nail works best!
since i cut my finger nails i use the back of my finger...if you know what i mean.
if you want to do the edit it is..

43. How to improve screen calibration

HKLM/Hardware/Devicemap/Touch/CalibrationData

Value Data change to > 519,503 177,881 182,129 847,127 849,872

Try & see if the above improves the screen calibration

Great job! My Mogul screen is even MORE sensitve than before. Thumbs up!

Just in case someone gets this same error, I fooled around with this a little bit yesterday. I was able to get it to edit, then did something strange and "messed up" the phone and had to hard reset. Tried to edit again (without the stupid one that messed it up) and was unable to get this particular one (callibration) to edit. I kept using the CeRegEditor tool to "unlock" the registry and still kept getting the "access denied" error.

Long story short -- finally had the registry entry displaying on the screen, when I tried the "unlock" tool, and VOILA!!!

Finally . . . got it to work for me.
