Disableing voicemail code
Hi everyone. I recently swiched from Sprint to Verizon because of poor coverage in my area. Anyway, With verizon I now have to enter a code every time I want to check my voicemail. My question to Verizon veterans is; how do I disable this feature so that I can go directly to my meseges like I did with Sprint?

Re: Disableing voicemail code
what you can do is...
Settings>Personal>Phone Change voicemail number to: *86p1234# where 1234 is your code. what this does is dial voicemail (*86) pauses for a moment (p) then enters your code (1234) and hits # this way you never have to enter your code, it just dials voicemail and enters it for you automatically...hope this helps. |
Re: Disableing voicemail code

Re: Disableing voicemail code
FWIW this method of using a 'p' and combination of numbers and # in phone numbers also work for other things... like for me when i want to know the balance of my checking account or savings account i just call my bank with all the programmed info in it (SS#, checking number, pin, etc) and it gets me to the info i want a lot faster.

That is so weird, its as though you are missing the phone tab on that screen. Schenley's idea is another way of getting to the same screen, let us know if that works for you or if the same thing pops up. I'll try and find another way to edit that. |
