questions about the omnia
 

hey, im thinking about getting the omnia through verizon. im a noob so forgive me if these are stupid questions.
1. Can you download apps to your omnia like the iphone(like a slide to unlock)? if so are they alot of different apps for the omnia?
2. Can you download and play games on the omnia, like mario or mortal kombat?
3. Once i activate my omnia can i remove the $30 data plan later on?
4. does the 3g internet pick up whereever you have voice signal?( i dont live in a big city, but the voice coverage is good)
5. are there some new awesome phone coming out within the next month or so through verizon i should just wait for?

Just a quick add-on to Adrynalyne's reply, you mentioned a specific request for a slide to unlock app.....go to this site, it has a superb locking app with a caller ID function + finger-friendly volume skin, plus a couple other great apps!!!
