so apparently its new software out for the omnia (new rom???) not sure if it is for our i910 as its stating i900...could some masters let us know!?

...and that folks, is probably why the rumors of discontinuing of the Omnia in Europe. They will probably be restocking this refresh version, which to be frank, doesn't excite me in the least bit.

I would like to see what they are releasing in that update. I saw that post and the list they included, but other than possibly the remote administrative access I don't see much earth-shattering. I think the main change is (and they even state this) the color of the Omnia's casing, so I wouldn't expect a complete firm-ware update over it (I would hope for one sooner than this one anyway!!!).

I would expect a firmware update for it for no other reason than the new widgets do not co-exist with the old ones. Its a complete different set.

Good point, and now that you bring it up, these are all things they would want in ROM, and the only way for that to happen would be a firmware update (that I know of at least).

Thats a feature phone setup, if you look closely. I'd wager its a cold day in hell before that will come to a winmo Omnia.
