Thank you. And I can confirm this app - selecting as QVGA - coupled with Skyfire does work!

Actually guess what skyfire just emailed me, that next month they are gonna do another release with support for "WVGA screens like the saga and the omnia"

Here is the email:
Thank you for your enthusiasim for Skyfire. Our next release is slated to support the WVGA phones such as omnia & experia. The next published release is expected to be available in the February time frame.
We apologize for any inconvenience and we look forward to supporting your device with the next rlease.
Thanks,
Skyfire Support

This was the biggest reason why I decided to not ever get an Omnia. A buddie of mine has one for his wife and I noticed right away that the screen was rather long, later I found out that it was a different resolution.

I knew that sooner or later they would release an update to include WVGA, I am patiently waiting... opera is nice but the lack of flash is a major drawback...

Yay!...I've missed not being able to use Skyfire. That is a great email ya received about the latest release to come.

We will be keeping our eyes open for skyfire update!!

PDAPhoneJunkie...I was wondering the same thing before I got my Omnia, but most apps work great without any tweaks (and look great as well), but with the app mentioned earlier to change the resolution, I haven't heard any totally non-working apps at all (maybe I haven't seen the right posts, but everything works for me). Maybe it is still worth a look?

Ive hit a couple of games that would glitch out but then i installed the fix and it worked fine. Ones like Legacy.

I have heard Guitar Hero III needs a fix to work, but it is just the converter listed earlier in the thread.

None that do it as well, quickly, instantaneously, or as stable as Skyfire at this time. Those that do support it do so self-sufficiently, which is just improper at this time as these devices don't have the proper strength needed to carry such activity on its own. Use Skyfire ... it's free and there's no trick to getting it to work. It just does ...

Meh.

Blurry images rendered by Skyfire ruin it for me. No thanks. Hopefully, the release is better.
