Screen shutting off
I just got the Omnia the other day and I love it so far, I had left WM platform about a year ago for a Blackberry, but I am back now. On my I760, I had it set so the screen would shut off, and turn back on with the press of any button, and then I could unlock the keypad. I cant find any settings that will let me do this on the Omnia. If I turn off suspend mode, the backlight will turn off, but the screen stays on. Is there a way to change the settings or a program the will allow the screen to turn off, but not have the phone go into suspend mode where only the power button will turn it back on?

Re: Screen shutting off
If you go into Settings > System > Power and look on the bottom, there is a Battery power tab. Clicking on that tab brings a screen with a choice of what you want the device to do after a certain time untouched. Mine is set to 'Turn off device' after 1 minute (backlight off after 30 seconds.
I think that should be what your looking for! |
