Disable keyboard from automatically popping up and obscuring your view when opening email or SMS/MMS:

HKCU\ContralPanel\Sip

Change TuronOffAutoDeploy from a 0 to a 1.


Soft reset.


Or import the attached reg file.

r we talking about the htc touch pro? I have one from sprint and I do not see the Change TuronOffAutoDeploy in the reg HKCU\ContralPanel\Sip..mine does not have anything even close..

Also, any ideas on getting the keyboard light to last longer??

This is the Omnia forum so he is talking about the Omnia not the Touch Pro.

can you verify if this works with the i920? I don't want to mess with it if it's not going to do anything! Also, if not.. does anyone know the code to keep that pesky swipe keyboard down!!?
