lmao. The second sprint gets their dirty little paws on it is the same minute I do.

Believe me I don't blame you, it is kinda depressing how Sprint not only gets most devices before VZW, but even the VZW 'exclusives' get picked up very soon after.

I started out waiting for the Palm 800w (I was using the 700wx) and was depressed, but patient when Sprint got it (not unexpectedly) first. To this day, not only does VZW not have it yet, but there is a rumored release of the very sweet-looking Treo Pro to Sprint!!!

First of all....welcome to the community!!!!

I will leave it to the VZW employees to break it down for you if it is any different, it sounds like there were/are a couple pricing schemes out there. All I know is I was given a price after my new every 2 and rebate and I went for it!!

I got something in the mail offering me and additional 50.00 off up until Dec. 30th

so they charged me 269.00 minus 50.00 = 219.00 minus my 70.00 rebate = 149.99...if I had waited the full 2 years...it would have been 49.99 but I gotta be up on the new sh*t...!

hop2000...I believe that without the NE2 199 is the cheapest rate right now, but it is still a great product for the money!! Enjoy the community, I am sure as a lurker, you know by now there is a lot to explore and learn in here!!!

I did read where someone said that they told a VZW rep in the store they did not want to wait for the mail-in rebate and they gave them an instant credit. Has anyone else had luck with this? Has anyone tried this over the phone? I hate mail-in rebates as they take forever and I really don't want to have to deal with the BS. Thanks.
