wireless manager won't run; need to turn off radio
I just got an Omnia and want to give it to my kid as a simple PDA. I do not want any of the network functions to work - I want to put it in Airplane mode, so that it's not emitting any energy trying to connect to the cell phone network etc. Weirdly, when I click on the cell phone network icon at the very top, and then Wireless Manager, nothing happens, as if it crashed and couldn't start. What is the simplest way for me to turn off the cell phone radio?
thank you! |

I'm not familiar with the Omnia, but is there a setting where you can turn off data? |

Try pushing and holding the End Call/Hang Up key and see if that turns the radio off. If not, You need to get into CommManager and Turn Airplane Mode to ON. |
