What about Landscape?

I just tweaked teh heck out of my Imagio that I got Saturday, just ot have the Omnia II come out Yesterday. I came from the Omnia I. I had to ditch the O1 because it was not compatible with my Mercedes. The Imagio is compatible.

So, I stopped by the Verizon store today to get a new battery for the Imagio and played with teh O2 a little. I am thinking about swapping (so long as it works with my car). Has anyone found a hack that will get the landscape mode to work for everything?

Thanks a bunch. This is a heapload of information. This will definiteluy help me make a decision on whether to stay with the Imagio or jump to the Omnia II.

I went from the Imagio to the Omnia II, for what it's worth. I like the camera on the Omnia II more, and I make extensive use of the 8GB on-board storage module.

Thanks, Shemmy. I am on the Omnia II now, but I am strongly considering a bounce back to the Imagio, even though it has no flash. ;-(

As for the memory, my friend at VZW hit me off with a 16GB card. So I am good there. I will most likely never fill that up. There are only but so many songs I need to have with me and I play movies, I them on my laptop when I travel.

I had the Imagio and sent it back. My Omnia 2 arrives today.

The AMOLED screen is enough to keep me on the Omnia 2, the "swype" text input is pretty cool too, I thought it would be a gimmick but it works quite well... Thanks for the info, the landscape mode has been driving me nuts too.
