i920 goes to black - backlight switch is off
 

i have no extra lock programs installed. sometimes it goes to black before soft restart has finished. phone finishes booting - but when using internent or other programs phone seems to shut to black after ten or fifteen seconds. the timing switch under backlight settings is unchecked. when it was checked at two minutes it would also go to black.

turns out there is another setting in the samsung settings and another switch under battery power that doesnt show in the windows settings.
