I'm new, and just learning myself, so if this doesn't apply just ignore me.

Are you talking about the panels for the programs, the ones that you get when you press the "shield"? If so, then I have found that you can edit those panels, and you have 10 to choose from. Any program that is not assigned to a panel shows up in "others" that you can access by pressing the plus symbol in edit mode. That way you can assign the programs you want to each or any of the 10 panels.

You might want to put tools on one panel, entertainment on another, messaging on another, word processing/office items on another, media on another, etc. You don't have to fill each panel. You can have 1-12 programs on each panel.

Hope maybe that helps.
