I have not had that problem and have been running the keyboard for a couple of months. My best guess for you would be to uninstall and reinstall the keyboard and see if that fixes it.

Um, wow! I am amazed at the difference this keyboard makes over the stock one. It doesn't seem like this has much interest around here for some reason. More moment users need to try this. Amazing!

I actually like BetterKeyboard or Swype myself, but this is definitely an improvement over the stock keyboard if you want to run it.

Yeah, for once Carla is right. I switched to Better Keyboard about a month ago and, for me, it is much better. Congrats Carla, I know that you have waited a long time to be right, and you finally earned it.

I wasn't aware of Better Keyboard until now. Just gave it a try and it's pretty nice. I do like the look of the HTC keyboard a little better, but the functionality of the Better Keyboard is a little better. Hmmm.

Better Keyboard can use skins so I would recommend that you check them out. Also, some of the Open Home themes will automatically apply within Better Keyboard, if you use Open Home.

I need help pleeeeease. I downloaded, unzipped and moved the htc.apk to my sd card....used AppMonster to install. I did notice when I installed the htc keyboard download was called HTC IME but wasnt' called apk (is this a problem) anyway...went into settings chose INPUT touch and disabled android keyboard and EVERY time I try to access any text box it force closes. What am I doing wrong? Also when I moved the htc.hme.apk over to my sd there was also another file called libt9.so, do i need to move that to the sd card too?

Yeah..mine force closes as well. Guess it will not work :(
