2.1 update

can it be done without connect it via usb be? like done with the micro sd card I ask cause it dont seem to wanna work connected to the pc but the cable works on other phones so thought Id ask.

no the official needs a comp to do it. go to menu settings applications and make sure debugging is off.

i found on mine "Norton" was blocking instalation... it's worth a quick check

I had a very difficult time w/ this as well. Turned out it was my USB cable.

The 'bad' cable charged the phone w/ the charger and the computer but I kept getting a "device malfunctioned" error from Windows. New cable fixed it all :)
