I don't understand why they don't provide a link to the page they took a picture of, a picture of, probably with their cell phone too

I'd believe a link to Sprint quicker!!! I have 2.1 on my phone right now and I'm content with the unofficial officially leaked 2.1

Plus I doubt those screen pictures are accurate as Sprint is still having website problems :)

probably because its an internal page that a link would not work without some kind of login you dont have. :(

that's possible since the web address doesn't end in .something
and it does say SPECIALISTS: All and looks like some internal stuff too

Yeah, anything like that would be intranet, not internet. And whomever released that pic is walking on thin ice with their job...hope they know what they're doing. Other than that, I'm fine with early May...preferably May 7th...happy birthday to me.

DOH that coincides with a trip I have planned so I will have to either risk the upgrade and possibly screw up my phone on my trip, Or wait until I return the following week. Geesh, well I cant wait, I will have to risk the upgrade LOL... My Customers will understand if they cannot reach me right? I mean we are talking android 2.1 here!!

I just hope it's all its cracked up to be..

I used the leaked version of 2.1 and I think it's a good upgrade, but I was hoping for more Facebook integration like what's found on the Hero.

now that Sprint has had us test their 2.1 "leaked" version, I wonder if they are satisfied with all the data we provided them and make their final adjustments before releasing 2.1 officially!!!

idk about the pic of the page posted... I just got on the sprint site, clicked chat, and just said "2.1?"

He replied "early may, is there anything else I can help you with today"

i know sprint keeps pushing of the date for 2.1. So i called into customer service today for a billing problem and asked the rep. about 2.1. And he had the balls to say google was holding up the release....... i asked if it is google then why is it been released for other devices and not on any sprint? he paused and then said "did i answer all your questions?" and hung up on me...... just goes to show you sprint reps are clueless!

Well, it is strictly OTW, so unless you have all of them in your hand while sitting at a computer on the support website, i doubt you'd be aware.

according to engadget the other day sprint said the hero would get their 2.1 on the 7th may this fri so maybe ours will follow shortly after

I read that and got excited because I want the devs to get the official 2.1 so that they can get it rooted and working right! First my Hero, then my wife's Moment :)

"philip: I wanted to see if there was any new information about the Android 2.1 update for the Samsung Moment.
Sam K: I will be happy to assist you regarding Android update.
Sam K: I would like to inform you that it is expected in the first week of May.
philip: So, being that it is the first week of May now, if it comes as expected, it should be here within the next 3 days?
Sam K: Yes,you are correct.
philip: Has any information been given out on how it will be released?
Sam K: I am sorry we do not have any information regarding this."
