Setcpu settings?
 

Finally rooted my Moment and I am curious if anybody is using setcpu. If you are, I'd like to get your input inregards to optimum performance while maximizing battery life.

I have SetCPU on mine, and it works very well, although my settings are not ideal for what you want. I leave mine maxed out lol.

For optimum performance I had mine set to run at 800/266 and it seemed to help very well with impressive overall battery life. That said, I also recently maxed mine out, because I can still get a full day out of it and don't see why not to :)

whats the battery life difference from maxed out and 800/266....i have mine on 800/266

I can easily get a day on my phone with texting and moderate web use. It depends on what you are using, I don't run many apps honestly.

hmm ok i guess ill try it and see how it works out. i cant believe u get a whole day out of it i charge my phone several times a day!

Well I factor in me working and everything as well, but once it comes off at 6:30 or so in the morning I don't usually put it back on until late at night. My Pre I had to leave a charger in my classroom since ti would die just from being on and not used LOL. Make sure you don't have something running that may be killing the battery off BTW.

advanced task killer is my best friend....gotta love being able to install apks ;)
