Moment and Tethering?
 

Has anyone figured out how to tether with the Moment? :scratch:

My wife went from the TP to the Moment and we used to be able to tether and not get billed for it from Sprint.

Any ideas. Thanks.

Check out this site http://www.samsungmomentforum.com/how-to/how-to-tether/ for full instructions on how to downlaod and install PdaNet. You DO NEED TO ROOT YOUR PHONE for this to work.

I recently moved had no internet at the new house for a full week. I tethered my Moment to my server and shared the internet connection over my WiFi. My phone served as my primary internet for the entire week, and I never had any problems.

Thanks. I actually found and tried pdanet after I posted this and I can't seem to get the driver to install on my pc. I am running windows 7 64bit. I emailed their tech support so hopefully I will hear something back soon.

Thanks, I will try this when I get home today. Are their any special instructions or should I install anything in a certain order?

For instance, should I install the desktop software, the phone software, or the drivers first, second, and last?

just make sure it is all installed i dont think it matters but i'd do the drivers first, then the desktop and phone in either order, i am posting from it right now and it is working great, the nice part of pda net is i am on wifi with the phone and passing that through to my computer so it is really fast, let me know if you have any issues
